Today, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to the dedicated first responders who arrived at my home in Barrhaven this morning during a critical medical emergency. My mother experienced a cardiac arrest, a life-threatening situation that required immediate and expert intervention.
Thanks to the swift and skilled actions of the emergency personnel, they worked diligently to stabilize her condition, successfully restoring her heartbeat. Their quick response not only saved her life but also transported her promptly to Queensway Carlton Hospital, where she is currently receiving intensive care on life support.
While the coming days will reveal the extent of any resulting damage, we are hopeful because of the timely intervention and heroic efforts of everyone involved. Their professionalism and dedication have given my family a fighting chance during this incredibly difficult time.
