Celebrating Bus Drivers Upholding Mask Mandates for Public Safety

During my recent rides, I observed several commendable actions taken by bus drivers who prioritized health guidelines. On three separate journeys, two drivers diligently enforced mask mandates by refusing boarding to individuals without masks, even closing the doors in the process. Their commitment to safety, despite possible confrontations, underscores their dedication to protecting passengers and staff alike.
It’s important to recognize the ongoing importance of mask-wearing, especially within enclosed transit areas. As a reminder, masks remain mandatory on Octranspo services, including within terminals. Compliance with this regulation is crucial to maintaining a safe environment for everyone.
