Urgent Assistance Needed: Missing Dog Johnny — Help Us Bring Him Home
We are reaching out to our community with a heartfelt plea for help in locating our beloved dog, Johnny. On July 2, 2026, Johnny, a one-year and ten-month-old male mix of Pitbull and Cane Corso, went missing from the Westboro Beach area of Kichi Zibi Mikan. His size is medium to large, and he is a cherished member of our family.
Recent Incidents and Context
Unfortunately, we have received reports indicating that Johnny was involved in a minor incident yesterday, as he was hit by a vehicle. Despite this, he has continued to run away out of fear and confusion. Johnny is understandably terrified and anxious, making it even more crucial for us to locate him safely.
Descriptions and Sightings
- Johnny was last seen on July 4 at approximately 7:42 AM on Melbourne Street.
- A bit later, around 8:00 AM, he was spotted on Keenan Avenue near Gainsborough.

Community Support and Effective Strategies
Thanks to the compassionate support from this community, a promising lead emerged after following the suggestion to leave a piece of clothing in the area where he was last seen. We are grateful to report that Johnny was found in that very spot, which underscores the importance of community cooperation in lost pet recoveries.
